QualiWare GO: Privacy

1. Overview 

Our app is exclusively for our customers. Only customers with a QualiWare hosted service or QualiWare installed on-prem can make use of the product. There is no signup functionality in the app. 

2. Data Collection and Processing 

To facilitate user authentication and establish a connection with a specific QualiWare repository, the application requires certain prerequisite data to be retrieved and stored. This includes the Repository ID, Configuration ID, and Azure login application details.

These details can be obtained either by scanning a QR code provided within the QualiWare Web UI for the respective repository or by manually entering them into the application.

For offline access, the application supports native biometric authentication as a secure alternative. 

3. Data Store

•  The app does not collect or store personal data.
• The application securely stores data that is essential for its core functionality. This includes, but is not limited to, repository-related information and associated data, all of which are protected using appropriate security measures to ensure confidentiality and integrity.

• To improve the app's performance and user experience, we may collect anonymized usage data, such as app performance metrics and error logs. These data are securely processed and stored within the respective app distribution platforms (e.g., Apple App Store and Google Play Store) and are not shared with any third parties. We ensure that your data remains private and is used solely for app improvement purposes in compliance with platform guidelines. 

4. Third Party Services

The application integrates select third-party libraries to support essential functionalities such as device information retrieval, camera access, secure data storage, and permission management.
These libraries may collect minimal, non-personally identifiable data strictly for operational purposes—for example, determining whether a permission has been granted or identifying the current operating system version.
Each library is thoroughly evaluated to ensure it only processes data necessary for its intended functionality, adheres to robust security standards, and fully respects user privacy.

5. Security 

We take data security seriously and implement the following measures: 

§ All data stored on the user's device is encrypted to ensure confidentiality and integrity.

§Communication between the application and QualiWare APIs is safeguarded using industry-standard encryption protocols and secure authentication tokens, ensuring data is transmitted securely and protected against unauthorized access. 

6. User Rights 

As a user, you are entitled to the following rights:

•  You may request detailed information regarding the collection, storage, and processing of your data by the application.
• You may choose to uninstall and permanently delete the application from your device at any time.

7. Policy Updates 

This privacy policy may be updated to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. The latest version will always be accessible within the app.
